What she does

Pooja advises clients and frequently appears in superior state and federal courts and tribunals, mediations, expert determinations and before regulators.

She works closely with clients to develop strategies for the early resolution of disputes, manage regulatory compliance issues, and to respond to investigations and inquiries.

Who she works with

Pooja works with Australian and multinational organisations in a wide range of industries. Additionally, she acts on behalf of insolvency practitioners, company directors and individuals.

Qualifications

Pooja has a Master of Laws, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting).

Life before Sparkes

Before joining Sparke Helmore, Pooja was a legal counsel at Australia’s largest debt purchaser and collector. She also worked at a national commercial law firm where she acted for NSW’s largest government insurer in their recovery portfolio. Additionally, she has spent some time on secondment during her career.

Life outside of Sparkes

Pooja is a keen traveller and often plans her next getaway when she is not working. She also enjoys board games, baking and going on hikes.
