Katherine is an administrative lawyer and solicitor advocate who regularly appears for Commonwealth departments and agencies in the Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court of Australia. Katherine is also the solicitor on record and instructs Counsel in complex judicial review litigation before the Full Court of the Federal Court and in the High Court of Australia.

Qualifications
Katherine has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Social Inquiry) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore in November 2018, Katherine was a lawyer at Mills Oakley where she worked in the Government and Administrative Law team. During this time, she had carriage of matters in the AAT, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court.
Life outside of Sparkes
Katherine is an early riser and you can find her down at Bondi beach early on the weekends (rain, hail or shine—but definitely not in the water between May and October). She is a keen traveller, loves to cook, and has a particular proclivity for Italian food.
