John works closely with the firm's other board members and partners to set the strategic direction of the partnership in a way that is consistent with our values.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining the Board, John was an executive partner in Allens' Corporate Group as well as chairman, CEO and director of emerging technology and high growth ASX-listed and private companies. John also currently provides director and advisory services to a range of companies through his private company, Parapet Consulting.
Life outside of Sparkes
John has three children who keep him on his toes. He loves soccer and on winter afternoons you can find him coaching University of Technology Sydney's all age men's teams on the North Shore.
