Helen is an experienced lawyer with over 15 years’ experience acting for public, private and not-for-profit clients across federal, state and local government jurisdictions.
What she does
Helen delivers expert advice on industrial relations employment law and health and safety issues and disputes. She regularly appears before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, Fair Work Commission, and various other courts and tribunals. Helen supports her clients to negotiate and draft complex documents including employment agreements and deeds of settlement. She provides effective, timely and solutions-oriented advice to resolve workplace issues as they arise and support her clients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Helen works with executives and managers, HR and WHS professionals and in-house legal teams across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
Qualifications
Helen has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Helen practiced employment law in both private and government practice and held senior in-house legal roles in local government.
Life outside of Sparkes
Helen enjoys spending quality time in or near the ocean with her partner, two beautiful daughters and two small dogs.
