Georgie is an administrative lawyer and solicitor advocate who regularly appears for Commonwealth departments and agencies in the Federal Courts and Tribunals. Georgie is also experienced in assisting Commonwealth clients translate policy into drafting instructions to prepare delegated legislation.

Georgie represents Commonwealth Government departments and agencies in merits review and judicial review proceedings in the Administrative Review Tribunal, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Family Court of Western Australia. Georgie also regularly undertakes secondments with Commonwealth Government departments and agencies in their litigation and policy divisions.

Before joining Sparke Helmore in 2018, Georgie worked as a paralegal at Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
Life outside of Sparkes
Georgie is a Francophile, having spent two years living abroad in the French regions of Lyon and Montréal. She has a B2 DELF qualification in French and one day hopes to pass the C1 exam. She thinks that this will only be achievable after spending more time in French speaking countries, which is a burden she is willing to bear.
