About Dan

Dan has spent his career advising clients on how to defend and address workers’ compensation claims and Court cases  particularly under Victorian law. He has also developed an expertise in defending public liability Court proceedings and acting on behalf of the NDIA in ART proceedings. Dan also has a passion for pro bono work, regularly representing clients at the Mental Health Legal Centre.

What he does

Dan takes a common-sense approach to representing all clients in defending legal proceedings and advising them on how to achieve optimal outcomes.

Dan provides legal advice to self-insured employers, insurers, public liability clients and NDIA. We work with an expert team at Sparke Helmore spanning Victorian and Commonwealth jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Dan has a Bachelor of Law degree and a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University.


Life before Sparkes

Before joining Sparke Helmore, Dan previously held senior positions in other law firms.


Life outside of Sparkes

Dan loves spending time with his wife, his three adult children, family and friends. He and his wife enjoy day trips and weekends away exploring Victoria and beyond. He tries to sneak in a little physical exercise, including riding his mountain bike.
