Kim Hodge joins Sparke Helmore's Workplace team in Perth
24-November-2025We are pleased to announce that Kim Hodge has joined our Workplace team as a Partner, effective 17 November 2025.
Kim provides strategic legal advice on industrial relations, employment and human resources matters. He advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters and represents clients before the Fair Work Commission, WA Industrial Relations Commission, Equal Opportunity Commission, Australian Human Rights Commission, Magistrates Court, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court of Australia.
His expertise covers enterprise bargaining and disputes, unfair and unlawful terminations, complex and sensitive workplace investigations, redundancies and performance management, restraints of trade, workplace health and safety, general protections claims, and discrimination matters.
Kim works with clients across a number of different industries including mining and resources, retail, engineering, utilities, education, life sciences, and not-for-profit. He also has significant experience providing advice to the public and local government sectors.
Kim’s previous experience includes frontline human resources and employee relations roles for a major Australian resources company, working as a labour market economist and as a workplace and labour relations inspector for a public sector agency.
Kim will be joined by Steve Bowler, a Special Counsel, who has worked with Kim for a number of years.
