Stephanie is an experienced litigator who specialises in professional indemnity claims, financial lines, D&O matters, class actions and other commercial matters. She most commonly conducts matters in the Supreme Court of NSW and the NSW Court of Appeal but, also has experience in conducting matters in the High Court of Australia.
What she does
Stephanie primarily acts for lawyers in defending claims made against them. This ensures Stephanie has a well-rounded insight into the legal industry and an understanding of many areas of law. She also defends other professionals in professional negligence matters, provides coverage advice to insurers and from time to time acts for clients in general commercial matters.

Stephanie works with domestic and international professional indemnity, financial lines and D&O insurers.
Qualifications
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) from the University of New England.
Life before Sparkes
Aside from some paralegal work Stephanie did whilst studying, Stephanie has been at Sparkes the entirety of her legal career.
Life outside of Sparkes
Stephanie’s greatest love is ballet—both to watch and do herself. Stephanie also enjoys baking, playing board games and trips to the park with her young family and friends.
