She is adept at both low-value and high frequency claims and high value, complex, multi-party claims. She is sensitive to clients’ needs and understands the importance of minimising reputational damage.

Shashi’s professional indemnity expertise spans professionals in the health and allied health sectors. She regularly acts for large hospital groups in Australia, aged care facilities, doctors, dentists and allied health professionals (including pharmacists, psychologists, chiropractors, radiation practitioners, osteopaths and psychiatrists, among others).

Qualifications
Shashi has a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Before joining the firm, Shashi worked for Kennedys, Minter Ellison and Allianz. Her broad exposure gives her a unique insight into insurer clients’ needs and their drivers, and to different types of allied and health professionals.
Life outside of Sparkes
Outside of work, Shashi loves travelling, exploring new countries and immersing herself in different cultures. At home, she likes to enjoy nature by trail walking and walking her British bulldog at the beach.
