Sam is an experienced litigator with a focus on federal administrative law. He regularly appears as a solicitor advocate in judicial and merit review proceedings.
Sam represents Commonwealth Government departments and agencies in merits review and judicial review proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Circuit Court, the Federal Court, and the High Court.
Sam is also a reporter for the Federal Court Reports, the Federal Law Reports, and the Family Law Reports.
Sam represents Commonwealth Government departments and agencies.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
Sam began his career as a Judge’s Associate in the Family Court of Australia. He then worked as a family lawyer in firms in Canberra and Adelaide.
