Paris is a corporate and commercial lawyer that is driven by helping her clients succeed. She develops long-term relationships by building a solid understanding of her clients’ business, operational needs and risk profile. This enables her to work effectively and efficiently, deliver strategic advice and consistently add value from both a legal and commercial perspective.
Paris has an impressive track record acting on local and cross-border M&A with expertise in due diligence, complex structuring, foreign investment laws, private equity arrangements, distressed asset sales and warranties and indemnities (W&I) insurance. She has a strong corporate background with experience in shareholders agreements, capital raising, commercial contracts, corporate governance, franchising and licensing, joint ventures and restructures.
Paris’ diverse client base includes SMEs, ASX listed companies and international conglomerates. She has a particular industry focus in FMCG, retail, technology and health. Her in-depth understanding of procurement and supply chain management has been enhanced through secondment experience with the in-house legal team of a major Australian supermarket. Paris has also gained valuable insight into the insurance sector as a legal counsel secondee for a global underwriter of warranties and indemnities insurance for M&A transactions.
Paris has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Bond University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. She holds a practising certificate issued by the Law Society of New South Wales and is admitted to the High Court of Australia.
Paris worked at Macpherson Kelley Lawyers acting for corporate and commercial clients where she remained before joining Sparke Helmore in 2017.
Paris supports her family’s growing ecommerce business while looking after her adorable fur baby, Winston. She is also a participant in Formula 1 Fantasy Global League and a member of West Tigers Ruby League Team, Leichardt Oval.
