Nicole is a solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team. She works on commercial litigation and dispute matters, including corporations law proceedings, competition and consumer law claims and regulatory actions.
For commercial litigation and dispute matters, Nicole is involved in drafting pleadings and evidence, briefing and instructing counsel, appearing in court as a solicitor advocate, attending mediations and settlement conferences, conducting legal research and critical analysis, and drafting practical and strategic advice to address the needs of her clients.
Nicole provides exceptional legal services and is known for being practical and easy to deal with. She listens intently to client needs and responds with innovative, commercial strategies which align with their business needs. In 2020 Nicole was a finalist of the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation category.
Nicole works with a wide range of domestic and international clients representing corporate and government organisations as well as individuals. She also regularly acts for public and private companies, including their directors and officers.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney. She is also currently studying a Master of Laws at the University of Sydney.
Before joining Sparke Helmore in May 2017, Nicole was a solicitor in the Litigation & Regulatory (Government) team at DLA Piper. She has extensive litigation experience as a solicitor advocate, having regularly appeared in the Federal Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court. In 2017, Nicole was recognised for her achievements as a winner of the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards.
Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends, skiing in Colorado, drinking good wine, and finding new and interesting ways to practice yoga—whether that’s in a hot room or on a surf board in Hawaii.
