Myrna is an intellectual property litigation lawyer with a focus on intellectual property advice and prosecution. As a career-long litigator, she has vast experience advising clients on brand protection and strategy.
Myrna provides strategic and timely advice on the management of intellectual property disputes, from inception to resolution and enforcement. She acts in proceedings before state and federal courts and tribunals, as well as in all forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Myrna works with SMEs and large corporations, including international clients and publicly listed companies across a range of industries. She also acts for government agencies.
Myrna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Social Inquiry) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney.
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Myrna was a senior associate at Fordlaw and before that, an intellectual property lawyer at Chrysiliou IP.
When Myrna is not at work, she is found enjoying high tea with her nieces and weekend getaways in wine country. Myrna is currently teaching herself Spanish.
