Mohamad is a workplace relations specialist working on contentious and non-contentious matters. Clients appreciate his commercial acumen and practical approach to problem solving to help them manage complex legal issues arising in their workplace.
Mohamad works across all workplace relations areas, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, general protections, bullying and harassment, restraint of trade, terminations, workplace investigations, work health and safety, contract review and drafting, award and agreement interpretation, incentive schemes, and employment aspects of transfer of business.
Mohamad regularly advises all levels of government and private sector clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment, contractual and regulatory matters.
Mohamad has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Bachelor of Economics (majoring in Accounting and Economics) from the University of New South Wales.
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Mohamad worked in the advice and remediation team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and prior to that worked as a part-time law clerk in a general law practice while completing his law degree.
On joining Sparke Helmore, Mohamad undertook rotations in the Corporate and Commercial (Mergers and Acquisitions / Corporate Advisory) and Workplace teams before permanently joining the Workplace team.
Mohamad is a passionate St George Illawarra Dragons and Liverpool FC fan. When not following his favourite sports teams, Mohamad can be found honing his futsal skills in preparation for weekend competition.
