Lisa is a corporate and commercial lawyer with more than 14 years' experience advising government and private sector clients. She works across a range of industry sectors, with a focus on telecommunications, media and technology (TMT), and health as well as various building and facilities-related projects.
Lisa regularly advises clients on corporate and commercial transactions, corporate governance and risk management, intellectual property rights protection and exploitation, industry regulation and dispute resolution. She takes a commercial approach and works closely with clients to ensure they receive practical advice tailored to their needs and assists them with their decision-making processes.
Lisa works with medium to large listed and unlisted corporates as well as Commonwealth and NSW Government departments and agencies.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts (History Major) from the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Lisa spent eight years as an in-house lawyer at a number of large organisations. Before that, she was a senior associate at Clayton Utz, where she specialised in TMT law.
Lisa likes to keep fit and healthy. She particularly enjoys barre classes, coastal walks and snow skiing in winter. She has an interest in architecture and design, and enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends whenever she can.
