Jackson is an experienced litigation and transactional solicitor, having worked mostly in construction and infrastructure (both front and back end) and commercial law on contentious and non-contentious matters for clients in the construction, commercial and government sectors.
Jackson reviews and drafts agreements and other construction and corporate documentation, conducts legal research and in-depth analysis of evidence and legal concepts, appears in court, attends settlement conferences, drafts pleadings and evidence, briefs counsel and experts, advises on disputes and provides other strategic legal advice as requested by clients.
He is known for his practical and straightforward approach and striving to achieve the best outcome for his clients, whether it be a commercial solution or protecting their legal interests.
Jackson works with a wide range of construction, corporate and government clients, including government agencies, construction companies and other medium to large companies, predominantly on construction and infrastructure matters.
Jackson has a Bachelor of Laws/Diploma of Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Business (with a double major in Marketing and Management), from the University of Newcastle.
Prior to joining Sparkes, Jackson worked for firms in Sydney and Newcastle that specialise in building, construction and commercial law (including intellectual property and real property).
Jackson enjoys his free time either at the beach with his family and dog, watching movies or spending time with friends.
