Jack is a senior commercial litigator and insolvency lawyer with extensive experience in complex and contentious disputes—including overseeing court proceedings in disputes related to corporate, commercial, property, insolvency and insurance law across all Queensland and federal jurisdictions. His experience also extends to all aspects of bankruptcy and corporate insolvency.
Jack helps his clients manage risk and resolve contentious disputes, either through the courts or by way of alternate dispute resolution methods. He works on general contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, including a range of Corporations Act issues, property and construction disputes and defamation. He also assists insolvency practitioners (as well as others) in this area, too. Jack understands the emotional and commercial pressures his clients face, and takes a holistic approach when providing advice.
Jack works with a variety of directors, business owners, SMEs, corporate clients, institutional clients, developers, professionals, individuals, other professional services firms and more. Jack also works with insolvency practitioners, lenders and creditors across personal and corporate insolvency, corporate restructuring and insolvency disputes.
Jack has a passion for thoroughbred horse racing and golf. When he’s not on track, or on course, he can be found navigating (code for “cataloguing”) his wine cellar.
