Inshani specialises in administrative law. She regularly appears as a solicitor advocate in the Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court in judicial review proceedings and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal in merits review proceedings. She also manages significant judicial review matters, including before the High Court.
Inshani represents Commonwealth Government entities in matters involving statutory interpretation, merits review and judicial review in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court. She is an experienced solicitor-advocate and regularly provides advice to her clients across several different areas.
Inshani is also actively involved in Sparke Helmore's Pro Bono Program.
Inshani represents Commonwealth Government departments and agencies.
Inshani holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Hons) from La Trobe University. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law.
Before joining Sparkes in 2014, Inshani worked as a paralegal with Justice Connect, as a bookkeeper for a boutique firm, and as a science tutor at La Trobe University.
Outside the office, Inshani enjoys going on adventures with her young family, indulging in wine and cheese and being an advocate for animal welfare. As a past rugby player, she also enjoys watching her former teammates in the Super W and international rugby competitions.
