Chris is a solicitor and litigator with experience in local government, planning and environment law. He regularly represents clients and appears as a solicitor advocate in planning appeals, judicial review and enforcement matters in the Land and Environment Court. Chris also represents clients in occupational licensing and access to information matters in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Chris provides practical advice and effective representation to clients on local government, planning, environmental and other matters, including requests for access to government information and privacy legislation.
Chris works with local councils, state government agencies, property developers and private clients.
Chris has Bachelor degrees in Arts and Law, and a Masters degree in Administrative Law.
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Chris worked as a solicitor at Lindsay Taylor Lawyers where he gained experience in advising and representing clients in all aspects of planning, environment and local government law. Earlier in his career, he worked as an immigration lawyer and for a Commonwealth regulatory body.
Chris spends much of his time looking after his young son, which he balances with cycling, running, watching and reading about cricket, and playing and listening to music.
