Cheree's skills in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, combined with her previous experience in general commercial matters, allow her to assist clients to achieve settlement where possible and to forcefully pursue her clients' interests through litigation where necessary.
Cheree is passionate about engaging with her clients and understanding their businesses and what they want for the future so she can help them achieve their goals.
Cheree's litigation and dispute resolution practice covers commercial disputes, liability claims, construction and security of payment disputes, debt recovery and insolvency matters. She has had matters in the NSW and Queensland Courts of Appeal and NSW Supreme, District and Local Courts, as well as the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Cheree works with SMEs and large corporations, including listed companies, as well as public authorities and government agencies. In the construction field, Cheree works with principals, contractors and consultants.
Cheree has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Arts (Double Major in International Relations and Spanish) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
Before joining Sparkes, Cheree worked at Blake Dawson's Canberra office (now Ashurst).
Running after her young family and their beagle keeps Cheree active and outside, most often at the local park near the play equipment or gardening in her backyard. When she has a spare moment, Cheree loves to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine.
