Cedric is a senior commercial lawyer, with extensive experience providing pragmatic and solutions-focused advice to government agencies on procurement, commercial, contracting and privacy matters including major infrastructure and ICT projects. He is also experienced in advising on dispute resolution, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and government policy.
What he does
Cedric advises government clients on commercial and contracting matters including on complex procurement processes and requirements and to prepare, review, negotiate and finalise tenders, contracts and other legal documents. He also provides general commercial advice and assists with the review, development and implementation of government policies and procedures.

Cedric works with government clients at the Commonwealth and state level.
Qualifications
Cedric has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Notre Dame Australia and a Master of Laws from the Australian National University. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Cedric was Legal Counsel for the WA Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. He previously held in-house legal roles with the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Social Services. Cedric’s experience working for, and within, government at the Commonwealth and state levels provides him with a unique perspective of his clients needs, with a clear understanding of the regulatory environments they operate in.
Life outside of Sparkes
Cedric enjoys keeping active at the gym, and spending time with family, friends, and his dog. He also enjoys good food, music and travelling to new and exciting places.
