Alex is a property lawyer with a primary focus on property development as well as work in the mining and resources, and agribusiness sectors.
What she does
Alex has a depth of experience in land acquisitions and sales, put and call option agreements, high volume due diligence programs, commercial and retail leasing, reviewing and negotiating easements, native title investigations and advice, Crown land issues and water licensing.
Who she works with
Alex acts for a range of public and private sector clients including mining companies, major authorities, property developers and rural landowners.
Qualifications
Alex has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from the University of Newcastle.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Alex was a senior associate at Thomson Geer in Sydney. She worked for McCullough Robertson in its Newcastle and Sydney offices earlier in her career.
Life outside of Sparkes
Alex likes to keep active by going to the gym and Pilates. For more peaceful downtime, she spends weekends with her young family at their property in the Hunter Valley winemaking region, exploring the local surrounds.
