Sparke Helmore Lawyers' Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) team has been ranked in the top tier of the 2018 Asia IP Copyright Survey.

"Our team is elated by the recognition by in house counsel and IP practices across Australia of us as one of Australia's leading copyright firms," said Shannon Platt, Sparke Helmore's National Head of IPT.

"This accolade is in no small part due to the talent and passion of our lawyers and their commitment to staying at the forefront of the law, particularly mindful of the activity in the online environment."

Rankings in the Survey are based on exceptional case work that demonstrates novelty, complexity and volume, research compiled by Asia IP on local developments in copyright law and feedback from in house counsel and law firms about other practices.

The IPT team was also recently acknowledged in World Trademark Review's WTR 1000 and the Legal 500 Asia Pacific directory.
