Sparke Helmore Lawyers is thrilled to congratulate Insurance Senior Associate James Clohesy and Government Associate Andrew Keevers for taking out their respective categories at the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards last Friday night.

James' and Andrew's wins capped off a sterling week for the firm, following our Law Firm of the Year and Insurance Specialist Firm of the Year awards at the Australasian Law Awards just the night before.

The 30 Under 30 Awards were held at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney and the firm had an impressive five finalists across the government and insurance categories this year, including Adam Cunynghame, Leith Helsdon and Kelvin Defrancis from our Government Group.

National Managing Partner Phillip Salem said of the wins: "This is a wonderful achievement for James and Andrew, being recognised as rising stars through these awards. Both demonstrate exceptional client service, legal practice, and professionalism and skill beyond their years of experience—I am so proud that Sparke Helmore is firm where our younger lawyers thrive and gain the unique experience that makes them stand out from their peers."

The 30 Under 30 Awards recognise Australia's high achieving lawyers under the age of 30 across 15 categories. The selection criterion includes career achievements, examples of initiative and leadership, involvement in external associations and the community, and contributions to practice group success.
