The 30 Under 30 Awards celebrates and recognises the outstanding work and results achieved by the brightest up-and-coming Australian legal professionals. Being recognised as a 30 Under 30 finalist is an industry-wide acknowledgement of not only professional competency but also passion for and dedication to one’s craft.

Christopher Peppel, Associate | Brisbane | Commercial Insurance
Chris has been recognised as a finalist in the Insurance category. He works for both domestic and international insurers across a broad range of areas, including personal injury and property liability claims. During his career, Chris has developed extensive experience representing both corporations and insurers defending claims pursuant to the PIPA and the WCRA. He advises on all aspects of claims management including claims investigations, liability and quantum, and is experienced in conducting both informal and formal settlement conferences and advocacy work. Christopher takes a considered approach in achieving the best possible outcome for each claim while also working closely with clients to achieve their long-term strategic goals.
Georgina Dodd, Associate | Sydney | Workplace
Georgina has been recognised as a finalist in the Workplace, Health and Safety category. Georgina specialises in WHS, coronial inquests and employee relations, she helps public and private sector clients deal with a range of WHS compliance issues and provides pragmatic and commercial advice to government, employers and insurers who require assistance navigating complex and often highly sensitive WHS and people-management enquiries.
She has recently completed a secondment to Transport for NSW where she was involved in the regulatory and prosecutions space. Georgina provided legal advice to internal clients to ensure compliance in complex and highly regulated environments and has continued to represent Transport in local court prosecutions. Georgina’s in-house experience enables her to proactively advise clients to reduce their potential liability whilst providing commercially viable solutions. Georgina regularly assists and advises clients in coronial inquests and most recently assisted a government client with a high profile and lengthy coronial inquest.
Winners will be announced at the 30 Under 30 Awards black-tie gala being held on Friday 3 June at Sydney’s Star Casino.
