We’d like to congratulate our 72 lawyers who have been included on the Best Lawyers’ list for 2022, and give a big shout out to three lawyers who received the Best Lawyers’ Lawyer Of The Year Awards: Carlie Holt (Occupational Health and Safety Law), Chris Rimmer (Personal Injury Litigation) and Kevin Bartlett (Aviation).

We also have four new additions to the list: Lani Carter and Andrea Boyd-Boland (Litigation), Shane Williamson (Professional Malpractice Litigation) and Bernadette Rayment (Public Law).

Phillip Salem, our National Managing Partner, said “It’s an excellent result to see so many recognised for their experience, talent and market-leading capabilities. I’d especially like to congratulate Carlie Holt, Chris Rimmer and Kevin Bartlett for being recognised as the leading lawyers in their respective areas of practice.”

While we have 72 lawyers on the list across 23 specialty areas, some of them are recognised more than once so we have 127 entries on the list.

Best Lawyers has been published for over 30 years. Its first international list was published in 2006 and since then has grown to provide lists in over 70 countries. Lawyers on the Best Lawyers in Australia list are reviewed by their peers on the basis of professional expertise and undergo an authentication process to make sure they are in current practice and in good standing.
