Mark Simpson

Partner

Mark is a Partner of Sparke Helmore's Business and Corporate Services group and has 14 years experience in corporate law working primarily in M&A and private equity. Mark has worked in top tier legal practices in both the UK and Australia.

Mark has extensive experience in private treaty mergers and acquisitions, private and venture capital investment, IPOs, MBOs, corporate structuring and general corporate advisory work.

Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Mark worked as a corporate finance analyst for a major US bank in London and New York.

  • $56m sale of an information technology group (2007)
  • $33m merger of two communications companies (2007)
