Robert has broad legal experience advising public and private sector clients in several areas of law, with a specialty in corporate and commercial law.
Robert advises Commonwealth Government departments and agencies on major commercial transactions such as market testing, procurement projects, funding arrangements and dispute resolution.
Robert works with private clients, and Commonwealth Government departments and agencies.
Robert has a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College, USA, as well as a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New England.
Robert worked at Minter Ellison in Sydney before relocating to Newcastle, where he held a general in-house legal role with a large international manufacturing company and gained experience working in private practices. He joined Sparke Helmore in January 2017.
Robert hails from Montreal, Canada. Before he became a lawyer, Robert played professional ice hockey in North America and Europe. He is currently the Head Coach of the CBR Brave who compete in the Australian Ice Hockey League.
