Clare is an experienced lawyer who works primarily in Commonwealth compensation and administrative law. She advises on the management and resolution of complex claims that relate to Armed Forces and Commonwealth employees and self-insured licensees.
Clare provides strategic claims management and litigation from initial liability stages through to appeals at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Court.
Clare works closely with Commonwealth departments and agencies, Australian insurers and self-insured licensees.
Clare has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Bond University.
Clare has focused on insurance and administrative law during her career in large firms in Australia and the United Kingdom. She was part of the Insurance team at Sparke Helmore from 2002 until 2009, when she moved to Shanghai for three years. After returning to Australia, Clare worked at a large national law firm until rejoining Sparke Helmore in early 2016.
Clare enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and catching up with friends.
