Cameron is an experienced construction lawyer who provides risk management and dispute resolution services to clients in the building and construction industry.
Cameron assists clients manage distressed projects. He advises and represents clients in disputes that arise on major building, infrastructure and engineering projects. He has extensive experience in litigation and all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, conciliation, arbitration, expert determination and adjudication.
Cameron also regularly advises and trains project teams on how to administer contracts and projects to minimise the likelihood of disputes.
Cameron represents principals, contractors, developers, consultants and various levels of government across a range of sectors and industries, including commercial, retail, hospitality, sport, road, energy, natural resources, defence, health, process engineering and telecommunications.
Cameron has a Bachelor of Business and Laws (Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology.
Before joining Sparke Helmore in 2017, Cameron worked at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) in Sydney. He also spent three years practising in London, where he worked for Clifford Chance in the International Arbitration Group.
Cameron is married with two small children. Outside of work, he spends most of his time trying to tame his children and pass on his love of all things sports-related to them.
