Brent advises contractor and government clients on front-end construction matters and on the delivery of major infrastructure projects. His expertise includes advising on bid strategy and documentation, evaluation, award and project delivery.

Brent holds a Bachelor of Laws from Flinders University in South Australia and a Masters in Law from Queens University, Belfast.
Before joining Sparkes, Brent was Head of Commercial & Legal at Downer Rail, focusing on the delivery of the Waratah Train Project and other passenger and freight rail projects across Australia. Before that, he was a senior associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, specialising in construction, major projects and PPPs.
Brent is a nerd at heart, spending too much of his free time working on car restoration projects or listening to his favourite rock band Queens of the Stone Age.
