Andrew is an experienced work health and safety lawyer. He is able to achieve efficient outcomes for clients due to his intimate knowledge of the judicial system and his experience project-managing large-scale regulatory and enforcement litigation matters for the Queensland State Government.
Andrew regularly advises employers in the mining, manufacturing, government, transport, environment services and aged and carer sectors, on employment issues, work health and safety training, risk management, incident response, investigations and defending prosecutions.
Andrew assists safety executives and managers from national clients and Queensland-based SME's and State Government agencies.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Law, a Master of Law and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology.
Before joining the firm, Andrew held various positions within Crown Law Queensland for 19 years, which encompassed a broad range of prosecution, law enforcement and regulatory work.
Andrew is the Treasurer of The Gap Farmers Markets 4061, a not for profit authentic farmers market in Brisbane. He also likes to play rock guitar for relaxation.
